This isn't my method but another persons on the TFN boards. I tweaked it to my liking. I also did a quick saber redo for fun.

photoshop.....try making it a a little darker.....then i think it will look goot......like a bright dark orange coler

It's actually AE so I can animate the burn. Yeah I know it's too light, but I exported before changing it to a darker color.
