Stronghold Crusader Extreme (PC)There is a difference between nostalgic games and games that are simply passe. This spel.valt in the second category. It is not much fun and you stay there rather indifferent under. As a derivative of the previous game is also in this real-time strategy game you expect that you recruit and train soldiers for the fight.
The maps are futile and the game is a race against the clock than a thinking game, where ultimately the speed at which you click with your mouse determines the winner. The game runs at a lightning pace and the battles are messy and complicated.
If you do not have extensive game experience, you will find it difficult to survive long. As already in the beginning you get a huge attack your jaws that you are completely overwhelmed. Once the game starts you will be attacked by enemies and you must pull out all the stops to get - without much success - to defend.
The game can be played via the Internet, but there are viruses in that mode which is not really working. The visual style is old and blurry. Because the characters and the landscape somewhat blurred, it is difficult to see the details to note. The sound quality is bad and the music sounds like a broken LP. Stronghold Crusader Extreme is recommended for those who still can afford to valuation dated games with old formulas.
