Considering the complexity and the detail of quality and resolution required form the digital photo frames, they are usually trusted from companies like Sony, Phillips, Kodak, etc. which already are prominent in the TV, camera, and such products. It is expected since digital photo frames consist of mostly an LCD screen, with the stand and frame and intelligent software inside which controls the way the pictures are handled.

Digital photo frames may sooner or later replace the traditional album since the prices are falling fast coupled with the comfort and ease of have around 1000 pictures displayed on a single surface without having to flick through pages. Most digital photo frames have the ability to display pictures in a slideshow basis. Hence, the frequency of the images can be set so that they are displayed at set intervals. Digital photo frames are a great addition to one's living room.

They tend to be over prized by good brands while unknown and cheaper brands could not be easily trusted unless one is sure of their good reviews.
